SPECIAL NOTE -MEETINGS
Meetings are held at the Clubhouse 168 Weston St Panania (opposite Peffer St) on the 1st
Wednesday of each month commencing at 7.45pm.
NOTE The big one is 12 Day Central Oz Camping Safari.
There has been a considerable amount of interest being shown
by students already, get in and book early, $100.00 Deposit.
Compare it with other organisers and see the difference.

Departure Times
At times we have been getting an increased number of members and friends attending some of our outings,
so in future, the departure time nominated on the program will be adhered to, so if you know you may be late ring the contact
person to make suitable / alternative arrangements or you may be disappointed and turn up and no one will be at the club.
Club Shirts
There are still a few of Club shirts available for any members.
They are in 2 colours Maroon or Emerald Green, they are Bonds Penguin Polo sports shirts with the
Club Logo embroidered on the pocket and are available at a cost of $20.00 (the club makes $1.85 on each shirt).
CHRISTMAS PARTY
It has been requested our Christmas Party not be held at Star City this year, so were or what do
we do about this Christmas; it is being left up to you the members to locate a suitable venue. All suggestions will be considered.
“****” Weekend Fri 28/7~Sun 30 Xmas In July Blackheath
Bookings have been made for two x two bedroom units at Blackheath, each will accommodate 6 people
so if you were at last years Xmas in July you will not want to miss out on this event, bookings and a $20.00 deposit will
secure your place.
“****” Weekend Fri 17~Sun19 November Port Stephens
We are going to have a camp weekend staying at Melaleuca Surfside Backpackers 2 Koala Place, One
Mile Beach. Camping area covers 5 acres. Following costs are per person per night: Camping $14 (child under 6 $6.00); Dorm
(6 share) $25; Cabin (4 share) $30; Cabin (double/twin) $80.
Robert has suggested for those interested a Dolphin & Whale watch cruise with Imagine Cruises

CAR POOLING
With the ever increasing cost of petrol if you share a car to get to and from a venue please make
sure you compensate the driver accordingly.
EMAIL ADDRESSES
Now we have moved into a more advanced world and you have an email address would you prefer that
we send your program direct of the press to your computer. Robert has a record, can you advise him to enable him to keep this
list current and up to date. I can assure you we will not sell you email address to other organisations.
